Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all photography services booked through ClaxTheJack Photography. By booking our services, you agree to the terms below.
1. Booking Fees
All booking fees collected to secure a session or event date are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. Booking fees compensate Photographer for reserving time and declining other bookings for that date.
2. Cancellations by Client
If Client cancels a confirmed booking, the following refund schedule applies:
• More than 7 days before session: Booking fee is forfeited. Any remaining balance paid beyond the booking fee will be refunded.
• Within 7 days of session: Up to 50% of the total session fee may be retained by Photographer. Remaining balance refunded at Photographer's discretion.
• Within 48 hours of session: Full payment may be retained. No refund will be issued.
Cancellations due to weather, attendance changes, venue closures, illness (Client), schedule conflicts, or internal Client decisions are subject to the above schedule and do not automatically entitle Client to a full refund.
3. Cancellations by Photographer
In the rare event that Photographer must cancel a confirmed booking due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond reasonable control (force majeure), Photographer will:
• Make reasonable efforts to reschedule at no additional charge, or
• Refund all amounts paid by Client for the cancelled session (excluding any non-recoverable third-party fees already incurred)
Photographer will notify Client as soon as reasonably possible in the event of a cancellation.
4. Rescheduling
Rescheduling is subject to Photographer's availability and must be requested in writing.
• Rescheduling requests made more than 48 hours before the session: accommodated where possible at no penalty
• Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the session: may be treated as a cancellation and subject to the cancellation schedule above
• Rescheduling does not reset payment deadlines or booking fee terms
5. Delivered Images
Due to the custom and subjective nature of photography services, no refunds are issued once final edited images have been delivered to Client. Delivery of the digital gallery constitutes completion of services.
If you have concerns about your delivered gallery, please contact us within seven (7) days of delivery. We will review the situation in good faith and, where reasonable, offer limited re-editing at our discretion. This does not constitute a guarantee of a refund or reshoot.
6. Reshoots
Reshoots are not automatically provided and are subject to Photographer's availability and discretion. A reshoot may be offered (not guaranteed) in cases of significant equipment failure directly caused by Photographer. Reshoots due to Client dissatisfaction with creative results, poses, outfits, weather, or other subjective factors are not provided.
7. Payment Processing Refunds
Refunds, where applicable, are processed through Wix Payments and returned to the original payment method. Processing times may vary and are subject to Wix Payments' standard timelines (typically 5-10 business days). ClaxTheJack Photography is not responsible for delays caused by Wix Payments or your financial institution.
8. Exceptions
Photographer reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis at its sole discretion. Any exceptions made do not set a precedent for future bookings.
